Is a sandwich just a sandwich?

I was introduced to this amazing sandwich back in the summer- The Robbie from Lenny's Home Plate on Ridge Ave. I wish that I would have known about it while working at Roxborough High School, it would have saved me from numerous WAWA sandwiches that always leave you feeling bloated and nasty. This chicken cutlet sandwich is amazing with the honey dijon mustard and delicious bread. I always add hot peppers for and extra kick on the palette. One sandwich is by far enough food to feed two people but I can't ever seem to control myself and end up eating the entire thing. This always leads to the -itis, a need for a nap from the food coma that sets in. So, thanks Lenny for brightening my day with the Robbie. I am sure that I will try a different sandwich soon but this one is simply amazing.

Anyone who knows me well knows that the name Lenny makes me laugh...

Expiration dating

It's the start of a new year which means it is time for a cleaning.

Started with the fridge- almost an entire trash bag of condiments and strange items from who knows when made their way into the dumpster. Years past their dates, so nasty.

The closet & dressers- four trash bags and counting. Anything too big, too small, with a hole or a crooked seam, anything that could be mistaken for a polo shirt.

Toxic relationships- a few down, only a couple remain. They didn't fit in trash bags however.

The Christmas tree is next; just waiting for the darkness and silence to set in before throwing it out the window.

Maybe I should do a better job at talking stock and getting rid of things on a more regular basis. There is no room for the new and needed things when items and relationships that have expired are cluttering your view of the world.

Just lost power...
